I'm inspired by everyone's excitement over the color green this month, so I made another green necklace. This piece is being sold on my http://designsbyjenean.etsy.com shop. I've learned some interesting things about St. Patrick on wikipedia. Check it out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Patrick Wikipedia also says the following about the four leaf clover, "According to legend, each leaflet represents something: the first is for hope, the second is for faith, the third is for love, and the fourth is for luck." Enjoy the rest of the month everyone.
God bless everyone,
Jenean

Beautiful necklace. I did not know that about the 4-leaf clover! What a great legend!
So when you find a three-leaf clover, which one of those is missing? ;)
Interesting question kaskaad. It appears from the Wiki posts that each type of clover means something different. If it's only three, then St. Patrick believes the clovers represent the Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. If it's a four leaf clover then the clovers represent hope, faith, love and luck. I guess if the fourth clover is missing, the luck is missing, but if you have faith, love and hope, I think a person is still doing very well without the luck.
Thank you gallerialinda.
